Returns

We want you to enjoy what you bought. We also sell a product that law treats differently from a sweater, so this page is more specific than most return policies.
Damaged or flawed bottles
If a bottle arrives broken, leaking, or corked, we will replace it or refund it. That is not a grudging exception — it is the point of the policy.
What we need
- Tell us within 14 days of delivery
- Photographs of the bottle, the label, and the shipping carton
- For a flawed wine, please keep what is left in the bottle until we have spoken
We do not ask you to ship a broken bottle back to us. Sending damaged glass through the mail helps nobody.
Wine you simply did not like
Taste is personal, and a wine that disappoints you is worth a conversation. Write to us and tell us what happened. We would rather learn something and put a different bottle in your hands than have you quietly stop ordering.
What we cannot do is take the wine back. Once alcohol has left a licensed premises it cannot lawfully be returned to our saleable inventory, so an unopened bottle you have changed your mind about cannot be restocked or resold.
Refused and undeliverable shipments
If a shipment is returned to us because no adult was available to sign after three attempts, or because the address was wrong, we refund the wine but not the shipping. The carrier charges us for both legs of that trip whether or not the wine ever reached your door.
Please check your address carefully at checkout, and see the shipping page for how to avoid a missed delivery.
Cancelling an order
Write to us as soon as you can. If the order has not yet been packed we will cancel it and refund in full. Once it is with the carrier it has to run its course.
How refunds are issued
Refunds go back to the card used for the order. Your bank decides how quickly it posts — usually five to ten business days.
